7.6 cm beautifully coloured tooth of the Megalodon

The 7.6 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a richly coloured blue and brown enamel. The serration can still be clearly recognised and felt. The brown root of the tooth has been eroded over the many millions of years in the sea. The tooth comes from the upper jaw of the prehistoric giant.
