7,1 cm very rare green megalodon - tooth from Peru

The 7.1 cm large tooth of the Carcharodon megalodon has an impressive and very rare green coloration in combination with a great preserved orange bourlette. Depending on the incidence of light the most different green - and orange tones show up. The serration is completely preserved and sharp except for the slightly damaged tip. 

The teeth of the Megalodon belong to the rare finds in Peru, mostly teeth of the Isurus hastalis or Great White Shark are found here. Furthermore, for some time there has been an export ban on fossils in Peru. This ensures that most teeth that come on the market are from older private collections. Like this impressive specimen.
