4.2 cm tooth of Carcharocles megalodon with sharp tip from Bone Valley

This colorful blue tooth of a juvenile Megalodon from Bone Valley shows very nicely the typical white root and bourlette for which finds from this region are known. In this tooth the tip is still completely preserved and the almost completely preserved serrations are razor sharp.
