6.8 cm tooth of Carcharocles Chubutensis

The 6.8 cm tooth of Carcharocles Chubutensis from the Lee Creek Mines is in a great state of preservation. The black bourlette is nicely recognizable and the serration is razor sharp and nicely preserved almost throughout. The enamel has a blue-gray coloration. The relationship to the Megalodon: Charcharocles Auriculatus -> Carcharocles Angustidens -> Carcharocles Chubutensis -> Carcharocles Megalodon
