10.7 cm dark blue-grey tooth of the Megalodon

The 10.7 cm tooth of Carcharocles megalodon has well-preserved sharp teeth. The shiny dark enamel is richly coloured blue-grey. The shiny black bourelette is still largely intact. The black tooth root is slightly eroded by the many millions of years in the sea.
