13.0 cm large tooth of the Megalodon

The 13.0 cm tooth of the Carcharocles megalodon from the USA still has a well-preserved grey-brown enamel with reddish elements. The dentition is still almost completely recognisable. The dark, well-preserved root contrasts with the lighter enamel. The bourelette and parts of the enamel have been eroded by millions of years in the sea.
