The fossil tooth of the great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) impresses with its size of 7.0 cm. The tooth comes from the Ocucaje Desert in Peru. The shiny enamel is richly coloured in various shades of brown. The somewhat coarser serration is sharp and beautifully preserved, except for the chipping on the side. The massive light-coloured tooth root is also very well preserved. An impressive tooth of Carcharodon carcharias, whose pictures and size speak for themselves.
