6.4 cm large, bright, multi-faceted coloured tooth of the great white shark from Peru
The 6.4 cm fossil tooth of the great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) comes from the Ocucaje Desert in Peru. The tooth is curved, which makes it very special. The lighter enamel is richly coloured in various shades of blue and brown. The somewhat coarser serration due to its size is beautifully preserved and sharp. The bright, almost white tooth root has reddish discolouration and has several nutrient holes (holes in the enamel) through which the tooth was supplied during the shark's lifetime. A very beautiful, special tooth of the great white shark whose pictures speak for themselves.
