The 5.2 cm fossil tooth of the great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) was found in Baja California in Mexico. The tooth has a multifaceted coloring of the enamel , as well as dark and white patterns. The dentition is nicely recognizable and sharp. The root of the tooth is well preserved, which is rather rare for finds from this location.
