4.8 cm gray-blue great white shark tooth from South Africa

The 4.8 cm tooth of the Great White Shark ( Carcharodon carcharias ) has a beautiful serration and gray-blue coloration.
On the coast of South Africa teeth of Carcharodon carcharias are mainly found. Probably they come from a phosphate deposit running in the sea along the coast. This is probably also the origin of the predominantly dark coloration of the enamel.
